We had a great day yesterday visiting Akagera National Park! Hyannick did a great job of organizing the trip for 6 of us! The food he served and the breakfast he ordered were more than enough! He explained everything very well and helped us find many animals! The driver was great!
It was a long day, but no one was disappointed!
Ending the day with a toast wrapped things up beautifully!

Ik reisde in januari 2022 for 6 weken naar Rwanda met Wild Heritage of Africa Tour and Travel. In 1 woord: het was fantastisch!
Wild Heritage of Africa Tour and Travel zorgde voor het volledige programma en dit was uitstekend. Alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld hotels, transport, bezoeken,…)
Samen met een gids reisde ik door heel Rwanda. We bezochten o.m. Volcanoes National Park en Diana Fossey begraafplaats, kampeerden aan de twin lakes, wandelingen in Nyungwe National Park, Kigali Memorial Site, wandelingen aan Lake Kivu, fietsen op de Congo Nile Trail, Kigali city tour, culturele activiteit (Huye – King Palace), 3 dagen safari Akagera national Park (we zagen leeuwen, olifanten, luipaard, neushoorn, nijlpaarden, giraffen, zebra’s, krokodillen, buffels, tientallen vogels, ….). Het was een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Outstanding 12 days in Rwanda
We spent 12 incredible days in Rwanda with Honore from Wild Heritage of Africa, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, the trip was impeccably organised, varied, and deeply enriching. Honore is an exceptional guide — knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about Rwanda, its wildlife, culture, and people.Over the course of the trip, we experienced everything from breathtaking landscapes and wildlife encounters to meaningful cultural interactions and local village visits. Honore tailored the itinerary perfectly, ensuring every day felt special while remaining relaxed and well paced. His understanding of Rwanda’s history and conservation efforts added real depth to the journey and helped us appreciate the country on a much deeper level.All of the accommodations we stayed in were beautiful, my only point for improvement is I wish id know how long the drives were in between locations as I may have suggested an extra night at one or two of the locations. But thats just my preference as I dont like back to back long drives.Honore was always attentive, flexible, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying ourselves. It genuinely felt like travelling with a trusted local friend rather than just a tour guide.Rwanda is an extraordinary country, and having Honore guide us through it made all the difference. We cannot recommend Wild Heritage of Africa highly enough and would not hesitate to book with them again. Wild Heritage of Africa delivered an outstanding 10/10 experience in Nyungwe National Park. As a Ugandan, I felt very welcomed and supported the team was well organized from start to finish. I enjoyed refreshments, a very comfortable vehicle, professional driving, and excellent guidance throughout the park.Special thanks to our driver and guide Ndahiro for the amazing experience, and Nadia for the great coordination and support. I will remember this trip for the rest of my life.

Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking Experience – Highly Recommend!
This was genuinely one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I was picked up in Kigali, Rwanda by Honore and Henry from Wild Heritage of Africa Tours and Travel, and from that moment on, everything was seamless. The drive into Uganda and through the mountain villages on the way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was beautiful and fascinating – an adventure in itself. Honore was a very careful and professional driver, which made the journey even more comfortable.The lodge they arranged exceeded expectations – great food, warm hospitality, and they provided a lunch pack for trekking day. The highlight, of course, was spending over an hour with a family of 14 gorillas. An absolutely awe-inspiring, once-in-a-lifetime experience.What really stood out was how well-organised everything was. Honore and Henry were outstanding hosts – friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful. Their passion for what they do was obvious, and it really elevated the entire trip.A few tips for fellow travellers: • If you’re starting in Rwanda, get the East African visa – it makes crossing borders simple. • A mask is required for the trek. • Bring 400,000–500,000 Ugandan Shillings for tips and local handmade items. • Wear a long-sleeved shirt and make sure your boots are waterproof. You can rent gumboots for about $5 USD.Rwanda itself is a beautiful and safe country with friendly and honest people. I’m already considering to return with friends – and I’ll absolutely be booking again with Wild Heritage of Africa. Great visit to Akagera
We booked a trip to Akagera national park, and I’m so happy that we used these guys. They turned up on time, we’re so friendly and made the day absolutely perfect. We started out early at 5 o’clock from Kigali, made a stop around an hour away from the park for a coffee and some pain au chocolates, which were great…. Then got to the park nice and early to get going on what was one of the nicest days weather wise we’ve had out here.Straight in you see some animals, zebras, antelopes, monkeys, baboons…. Then the elephants which was incredible. We see 4 of the big 5 only missing out on lions, but it was beyond worth it. The drive itself was just as amazing as the animals, you struggle to have a bad backdrop in Rwanda as a whole, but on that drive, the views are incredible. Would I do it again, in a heartbeat and I wouldn’t use anyone else.
